Our Team

Pelican Transfer is comprised of a dedicated team of professionals who work every day to ensure excellent service. We currently have approximately 70 experienced drivers and a back-office team of seven people responsible for operational coordination, reservations, and customer support. In addition, three professionals are dedicated to digital marketing and brand communication. The company is led by three founding partners who closely monitor its growth and the quality of its service.

Operational Structure

Our operation also includes professionals who ensure the company’s smooth day-to-day operations. We have a staff member responsible for assisting with and monitoring flight arrivals at the airport, ensuring that every customer is met at the right time. The team also includes a mechanic dedicated to fleet maintenance and a staff member responsible for vehicle detailing, ensuring that all vehicles maintain a high standard of appearance.

Strategic Operational Base

Pelican Transfer has an operational base strategically located behind Faro Airport. This location enables a rapid and efficient response to departures and arrivals, reducing travel times and ensuring greater punctuality in our services. The base serves as the operational hub, allowing for the effective organisation of the fleet and teams, particularly during periods of peak tourist traffic in the region.

Infrastructure and Preparation

We are prepared to ensure service continuity in any situation. Our depot is equipped with electric vehicle charging points featuring three 20 kW outlets, helping to support the transition to sustainable mobility. In addition, we maintain an emergency fuel supply system for situations where fuel is in short supply. The entire facility has been designed to ensure that our customers always enjoy safety, reliability and peace of mind on their journeys.
